REWARDS & RECOGNITION

MONOCHROME REMOVES THE NOISE

01 - THE ORBIT 12

Twelve photographers form the official selection of each edition of MONO ORBIT AWARDS.

Three photographers receive the main awards, while nine are recognised as Selected.

Together, they form THE ORBIT 12 - a curated collection of photographic perspectives recognised for their originality, visual strength and response to the edition’s theme.

All twelve photographers and their selected works are presented through MONO ORBIT AWARDS and its associated editorial and communication channels.

02 - THE AWARDS

FIRST AWARD - €900

SECOND AWARD - €700

THIRD AWARD - €500

TOTAL GUARANTEED CASH AWARDS - €2,100

03 - SELECTED PHOTOGRAPHERS

Nine photographers are recognised as Selected alongside the three award winners.

Their photographs receive official recognition and publication as part of THE ORBIT 12.

Selected photographers are presented across MONO ORBIT AWARDS, MONO ORBIT and associated editorial, promotional and social media channels.

04 - HONOURABLE MENTIONS

Additional Honourable Mentions may be awarded at the discretion of the sole juror.

These recognitions are independent of THE ORBIT 12.

Honourable Mentions and their recognised photographs are also published and promoted through MONO ORBIT AWARDS, MONO ORBIT and associated communication channels.

05 - EDITORIAL PERSPECTIVE

Beyond the official awards, MONO ORBIT AWARDS may present an additional editorial selection of photographs from the competition.

This selection is independent of THE ORBIT 12 and the Honourable Mentions.

Its purpose is to recognise compelling photographic perspectives that contribute to the wider visual narrative of the edition.

Photographs selected for EDITORIAL PERSPECTIVE may be featured through MONO ORBIT, MONO ORBIT AWARDS and their associated editorial and communication channels.

Editorial selection does not constitute an additional competition award.

06 - THE SELECTION

All eligible submissions are considered within one shared selection process, without categories or public voting.

The final awards, THE ORBIT 12 and Honourable Mentions are determined independently by POSTRH, founder and sole juror.

The selection reflects an individual curatorial perspective, placing photographic intention, originality, visual strength and the relationship to the edition’s theme at its centre.
