ENTER THE AWARDS

Mono Orbit Awards is open to photographers worldwide.

Each edition is centred on one theme. All eligible photographs are considered together through one shared selection process. There are no separate categories.

SUBMISSION

Submit one monochrome photograph responding to the current edition theme.

Each photograph is considered as an individual entry.

Multiple entries are permitted.

A separate entry fee applies to each submitted photograph.

The photograph must be the entrant’s own original work.

The relationship to the theme should be visible within the photograph itself. A title or description may provide context, but should not be required to make the image relevant.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Submitted photographs must meet the following specifications:

Monochrome photography only

JPG format

Longest side: up to 3000 px

Maximum file size: 6 MB

Colour space: sRGB

No watermarks, logos, borders or identifying text

Both digital and analogue photography are accepted.

AI-GENERATED IMAGERY

AI-generated images are not permitted.

Submitted work must originate from a photograph made by the entrant. Artificial intelligence may not be used to generate, replace or substantially create visual elements within the image.

Standard photographic editing is permitted, including adjustments to exposure, contrast, tone, cropping, monochrome conversion and the removal of minor sensor dust. Mono Orbit Awards may request an original RAW file, unedited source file or other evidence of authorship during the selection process.

ENTRY FEE

€20 per photograph

Each submitted photograph is treated as a separate entry.

Entry fees support the development and administration of Mono Orbit Awards, including financial awards, editorial presentation and future opportunities for selected photographers.

Entry fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT

Please consider:

Does the photograph respond clearly to the theme?

Does it offer an individual or considered perspective?

Is monochrome essential to the work?

Would the image remain meaningful without its description?

Is this one of your strongest photographs?

We encourage careful selection and quality over quantity.
