1. Check the current theme
Each edition of Mono Orbit Awards is built around a specific theme.
Your submitted photograph must respond to the theme of the current edition.
2. Choose your category
You may submit your work to one of the following categories:
Documentary Photography
Conceptual Photography
3. Prepare your photograph
Your work must be monochrome and related to the built environment.
Architecture, infrastructure, industry, public space and other human-made structures are eligible.
AI-generated images are not accepted.
Technical Requirements
Submitted photographs must meet the following specifications:
Monochrome photography only
JPG format
Dimensions: max 3072 × 1620 px
Maximum file size: max 8 MB
Colour space: sRGB
Images that do not meet the technical requirements may be rejected.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that submitted files are correctly prepared before upload.
4. Create your account
Create an account and complete your photographer profile before submitting work.
5. Submit your entry
Upload your photograph and complete the submission form.
You will be asked to provide:
Photographer name
Country
Category
Photograph title
Short description
6. Complete payment
The entry fee is €20 per photograph.
Each photograph requires a separate submission and payment.
7. Review process
All entries are reviewed after the submission period closes.
The jury evaluates each photograph independently.
8. Results
Selected, shortlisted and awarded photographs will be published on the Mono Orbit Awards website and official communication channels.
9. Authenticity verification
Participants may be asked to provide original files, RAW files or additional documentation to verify authorship.
Failure to provide requested materials may result in disqualification.
